MORE THAN THREE in five people get to work by car or van, with motorised journeys most popular in Wales, according to figures highlighted by the RAC Foundation. While only 29.8% of Londoners reach offices and workplaces by car or van, the figure for Welsh workers is as high as 74.2%. Six months on from launch BMW has extended the 1-Series range with the addition of the 125i, 125d and 116d EfficientDynamics. M-Sports Package too. With sales of the new BMW 1-Series five-door hatch starting to flow, BMW feel its time to extend the range a bit.
Tesla has revealed that its Model X SUV – based on the Model S – will be delayed until 2015 so Tesla can concentrate on Model S sales. Despite plenty of cynicism in the car industry that Tesla could deliver their Model S saloon at all, never mind at a reasonable cost, Tesla has confounded its critics by not only launching the Model S, but seemingly taking as many orders as it can handle. On the face of it, that’s not surprising.
